Measurement of Diameter and Geometry of Precision Bearing Balls
This technique enables contact-free measurements of ball diameters using a pattern matching method. During pattern measurement a pixel value is determined, which will subsequently be used for service measurements.

A spectral analysis of deviations provides an entire spectrum of geometrical distortions of the circle shape in amplitudes and phases of the harmonics.
